People suffering from this disorder always have an inferiority complex regarding their physique as well as body weight. They consistently fear that they would be gaining a lot of weight, however; they do not have any control over the amount of food which they consume. Once they consume the food, they consistently feel guilty about eating more. That is why they opt for vomiting out the food. The problem is that not only, the food would be eliminated from the body but water content would also be eliminated from the body. This results in dehydration as well as other gastrointestinal problems. Moreover, frequent vomiting can also lead to the electrolyte imbalance in the body as well which would hamper various essential functions of the body.

  1. Binge eating disorder:

This is one of the most common forms of eating disorder. People suffering from this disease often eat food consistently even between meals. They do not even take into account the nutrition of the food which they are consuming. The just eat food to satisfy their taste buds. As a result, they often consume unhealthy foodstuffs. Binge eating can cause various cardiovascular problems and can increase the blood cholesterol levels as well. Binge eaters even though, they suffer from guilt after eating food, but they cannot resist the temptation of eating more. Since especially, for the foodstuffs which are tastier, often they consume the foodstuffs which have more cholesterol as well. This results in obesity issues as well.

Also, when you are on the lookout for these eating disorders, it would indeed become easier for you to detect the symptoms early and start the treatment of these disorders. Most of these disorders are related to addiction to food and therefore, can take a certain period to get eliminated.
